It’s important that children stay safe during holiday and vacation traveling. Communicate with your children so they know the rules and you know they’re safe.
- Establish A Contact Person: When traveling by road or air, always give a trusted contact person at home your trip itinerary. If any of your information changes, make sure you update your information with your contact person.
- Establish Rules & Guidelines: If you are traveling to a new place, establish rules and guidelines for playing outside.
- Keep Your Cell Phone Charged: Make sure you have a charged cell phone with you at all times in case you get lost, you break down, or there is another emergency.
- Submit An Address: Always submit an address of where you will be to the local Law Enforcement Sex Offender Database, thereby giving you the information for which houses or areas to avoid.
