A lot of things can happen in 2 minutes.
Don’t let sexual assault be one of them.
Two minutes doesn’t sound like much, right? Really, a lot can happen in such a short amount of time, including sexual assault. According to the Department of Justice, every two minutes someone living in the United States is sexually assaulted. In that same time frame 8,620 people will visit Amazon.com, 154,320 hours of video will be streamed on Netflix, and lightning will strike the earth 12,000 times.
Sexual assault affects hundreds of thousands of people each year. It affects men, women and children of all ages.
